Your teenager may have good reasons to delay college or skip it altogether. But that doesn't mean he can afford
to skip getting the training he needs to succeed. There are good jobs in fields from biotech to 3-D animation,
but they require academic and technical skills. Your teen will need a strong foundation in core subjects in high
school and he should consider taking technical classes to prepare him for the job of his choice, even if your high school doesn't offer them.
